In October 1993, Steve when made room for another mega-resort on the Las Vegas strip when he imploded the Diamond of the Dunes tower and its 15 story neon sign. Within seconds, 30 years of Las Vegas history was polarized. What remained was a whole, a space which was once occupied I one of the cities great buildings.

This collaborative photographic project with Charles Morgan is the result of a consideration of the history of one of the world's most interesting cities and the loss of that history for all the reasons that make Las Vegas what it is.
